Match report St Albans lost by 100 runs, but the margin of the result shoul dnot detract from the average age of the team.
These players are the future of St Albans CC and should be fully encouraged.

Apart of Nick Kirwan, called in at 12 noon and Peter Mardle, called in at 12.30pm, to replace players who have, yet again, dropped out, all the players were under 21 years old.

The day was soured by the loss of Peter Mardle's car and equipment, after a breaking into the changing room where he had left his car keys. The scumbags then stole his car and all his valuables.....

The Finchley side did contain two players who play Middlesex II and one player who has actually played one game for the full Middlesex side this season. It did give our players a good experience to the level required.

ps. Anyone finding Mardle's car, there is a reward !!!
