North Enfield II v St Albans Cricket Club 3XI on Sat 17 Jun 2006 at 1.30pm
St Albans Cricket Club Won 6 wickets
Thirty points well earned. Some good bowling by Luke Mitchell, with Chris Ellins and Tom Evans hitting the mark once they loosened up and got used to the slope. Some excellent fielding kept the pressure on and, If they had been a few LBW decisions in Saints favour the home side would not have got anywhere near 100. Two early wickets gave North Enfield some hope but an excellent partnership between captain Ferguson and "captain" Black set up a good position. When both fell in quick succession it was left the old head of Micky Eames and the youthful exuberance of Eddie Hughes to see St Albans home.
