Match report On a sunny afternoon at Knebworth, St Albans won the toss and bowled.

Excellent length and line was rewarded as St Albans took 8 wickets bowled, with early inroads from James McVeigh and Harry Seagrove. Just as Knebworth seemed to get going they were pegged back again, and Nulan Ilamperuma and Dylan Winfield took 3 late wickets to keep the pressure on, limiting Knebworth to 240 for 9. Marcus Cunnington kept wicket tidily to cap a real team effort in the field.

In reply, Dylan Winfield and Dan Bayliss, opening, set the tone with some excellent running between the wickets, followed up by Robbie Ferguson and Harry Seagrove striking 5 boundaries between them. At the end, some more strong hitting from Josh Mulvaney made the game safe as St Albans closed on 288-3.
