St Albans Cricket Club Men's Indoor v London Colney - Cup on Wed 24 Oct 2007 at 20:00
St Albans Cricket Club Won

Match report The toss was lost by Ethan (with the captain being too lazy to do it himself!)and St Albans were put in by a familiar London Colney team.

Ben Ramsay and Martin Jones opened up, but quickly Ramsay fell to a sharp catch off a thick edge, bringing Howeson to the crease. Howeson batted well and retired following the run out of Jones. This brought in Fogarty and Rogers, who both clearly depressed following the early Rugby World Cup exits, struggled hopelessly.
Both ended up taking a walk down the wicket clearly having had enough. Dorsett and Howeson finished the innings off, bringing the total to a respectable one, albeit 20 runs short of par.

St Albans bowled well and with the 2 early wickets London Colney were always on the back foot. St Albans maintained the pressure and with tight bowling and very strong fielding, London Colney were eventually skittled over well short of the target.

A much better performance but still rooom for improvement with the bat.
