Match report Fielding a team comprising 4 under 14's, St.Albans won the toss and put the opposition in to bat. With the exception of Stunt Snr., there followed some distinctly average bowling with the captain doing the opposite of leading by example. 47 overs later, the home side had declared with 256 runs on the board at a cost of 3 wickets. Dave 'Herbie' Hancock and Rex 'the cat' Devadason opened up with some lusty blows and were ably supported in run-making by Murray Snr. It was always going to be a tough task to chase down 250+ for the young St.Albans side so a draw with the visitors reaching 213-5 was settled for.
