Harrow v St Albans Cricket Club Sunday 1XI on Sun 02 Jun 2002 at 1:00
St Albans Cricket Club Lost Lost by 9 wickets
St Albans fall at the 1st hurdle in the Evening Standard for yet another year. With only three first team players in the team, against a full strength Harrow Town CC side, they were alway going to struggle.
A modest 161 all out on a good batting track was never going to be enough. However despite some attacking opening bowling from Simon White the result was known from about 10 overs.
A couple of dropped didn't help the cause, but it would have made no difference to the result.
Triniman did pick up a wicket in the dying moments of the game.
One to forget.....
