Another fine win by 4XI against a weak Letchworth side kept St Albans top of the table with over half the season gone.

The St Albans side kept up the pressure with some tight bowling from Simon Marriott and Naveed who both ended with 4 wickets. Some poor fielding did let the Letchworth side slide over the 100 mark before Barry Atkinson took the final two wickets.
The Letchworth side finishing on 121 and left the St Albans side lots of overs to win.
With Nadeem opening with Pat Sylvester they never looked in any trouble. Nadeem finishing on 69no and Pat on a painfully slow, but worthwhile 38no as the St Albans side won by 10 wickets and leaving Letchworth to lick their wounds, as they failed to gain a single point from the match.
Next week the side entertain Hoddesdon in a rare home appearance and look to continue to gain maximum points.
