Match report A lovely sunny evening and a good crowd saw another closely fought game between these 2 sides, where this time the bowlers dominated.
St Albans started attacking very early in their innings and with some poor shot selection they soon found themselves in trouble at 19-4 after 3 overs. Some further accurate bowling from Shenley's Mathew Rowe (2-12) and Ben Broad (4-23) soon had St Albans reeling on 43-7 after 8 overs. James D and James W played some careful shots to lift the St Albans total to 73 all out, in the 16th over.

Shenley started their reply nervously losing 3 wickets in the first 2 overs. Tom (2-6) bowled excellently and was well supported by Jack (2-5). Shenley recovered well with William Thompson (16), and Ben Broad (12) bringing the target within reach at 35-4 after 11 overs. However a double wicket maiden in the 17th over by Alasdair (2-1) helped St Albans scrape home. Shenley were eventually all out for 56 after 20 overs.
