St Albans Cricket Club Junior Development v Chorleywood on Sun 11 Jul 2004 at 1.30
St Albans Cricket Club Won 2 wickets
A wicket with the first ball looked good but Chorleywood raced to 49 runs before another wicket was lost. Ed Hughes brought himself into the attack and soon slowed the run rate down with some accurate bowling. Wickets started to fall and Alex Sands George Boddy and Andy Rudlin capitalised on Chorleywood weakness to close the innings after only 26 overs.
St Albans innings started disastrously with three wickets down for 11. Ed Hughes again came to the rescue with a fine 28, and Alex Sands with a brisk 19 no hit the winning runs after 23 overs.
