Match report A surprisingly comfortable victory over an under strength Lutonians side.

Lutonians won the toss and elected to bat first, a god opening spell from Smudge, and Hammer kept Lutonians in check. Their opening pair batted conservatively, and both retired having got to 25. Lutonians run rate never got above 10 and over, and they finished on 116 all out.

St Albans reply went pretty much according to plan, both Matt and Toby retiring having reached 25, Luke made a good 23, and Smudge and Hammer finishing of in style with some help given with a no ball from the Lutonians bowler. Tooley the only man not required to bat.

A good performance, tougher tests still to come!
