Batting first, the IVs were in trouble at 5-18, but through Walker and Hay, a recovery threatened. After a decent partnership was broken, Walker's 38 kept some forward momentum for a short time, but the innings concluded with three wickets in an over to Ali (6-17).

Although the bowlers worked well, they lacked the magic needed to defend a total of 89. Townend had the pick of the figures with 3-17.

Perhaps a few more runs on the board might have given us enough to come out winners. Next time maybe?
