Match report St Albans lost to a strong Enfield side, who included ex- England captain, Mike Gatting in their ranks.

He was instrumental in the Enfield score, as he came in and scored at qucker than a run a ball, as he finished unbeaten on 28.

He then also cam up with the goods with the ball, as he returned good figures to leave the St Albans side stuggle to keep up with the scoring rate required.

Despite a solid 50 from Josh Holt and Raza with 47 the lower oreder faded and the last five batsmen all failing to reach double figures.

With St Albans in Evening Standard action next Sunday, they need to find some form, if they wish to reach the second round this season.
