When we set up our Just Giving page two days ago to raise money to help refurbish the bar area at Clarence Park we gave ourselves what we thought was an optimistic 90 days to raise £2500.

I'm delighted to say that in just 48 hours we have smashed that target. At the time of writing we have raised a remarkable £2531.00 !

We are truly overwhelmed and humbled by your generosity.

Given that the target was reached so quickly we are going to keep going .Not because we are greedy but because numerous people have not yet had a chance to donate and have expressed a wish to do so. 

So, with that in mind we will raise the target to an arbitrary figure of £5000. If we reach that it will be fantastic but as far as we are concerned we have already achieved a remarkable feat by hitting the figure we set so quickly .

All funds raised will be spent improving the internal facilities at Clarence Park so that we have social areas that are properly fit for purpose this season.
