About St Albans Cricket Club Juniors
St Albans Cricket Club runs 16 league teams for boys and girls of all ages.

Boys: Under 8 to Under 19
Girls: Under 8 to Under 17

We run indoor nets for all age groups over the winter and hold coaching sessions in Clarence Park for 7-15 year-olds from April to August. Under 8 to Under 11 boys and girls train on Friday evenings (6-8pm), Under 12 to Under 15 girls train on Sunday mornings (10am-12pm) and Under 12 to Under 15 boys train on Monday evenings (6-8pm). All coaches are ECB Level 1 qualified or above and hold DBS clearance.

Parents are welcome at Clarence Park for the BBQ and Bar every Friday evening.

Junior Waiting List

At St Albans CC, we have a thriving junior section, with around 250 children between age 8 (Year 3) and age 15 (Year 10) participating in outdoor cricket coaching over the summer and/or indoor cricket nets during the winter. 

The number of children we can accommodate is limited by the number of qualified coaches and coaching assistants that we have.  Consequently, places are in high demand and we have a waiting list for all age groups.

The 2025 waiting list is now OPEN! We are now taking new applications for junior members in the 2025 season where we have spaces available.

Please note we have 2 separate waiting lists, one for children in YEAR 3 ONLY and one for children in YEAR 4 OR ABOVE. The waiting lists can be accessed by clicking on the appropriate link below:

As well as our sessions for Year 3 and above, we also run the ECB's All Stars Cricket programme for children in reception through to Year 3. To register for these sessions, please apply via the ECB All Stars website.
