Based at Clarence Park, St Albans Cricket Club is always keen to welcome new members, young and old, across our men's, women's and junior sections. For those wishing to join our men's cricket teams, some previous cricketing experience is preferred.

The club offers a mix of league and friendly cricket ranging from strong competitive 1XI league cricket to Sunday friendlies. We currently have 5 men's league teams on a Saturday, 2 women's teams, and 2 men's teams on a Sunday.

Indoor winter nets take place from January until March at Verulam School in St Albans. Men's outdoor nets start in April and take place at Clarence Park every Tuesday and Thursday throughout the season from 6pm until around 8pm. Women's outdoor training is at Clarence Park on Wednesday evenings, 6-8pm, and Sunday mornings from 10am-12 noon. All welcome!

St Albans is a community cricket club, offering cricket across all standards.  

We have five men's teams on Saturdays, all playing in the Hertfordshire Premier Cricket League. Our teams will be competing in the following divisions in the 2026 Season:

1XI: Division 1
2XI: Division 3A
3XI: Division 7 West
4XI: Division 9 East
5XI: Division 11 East
We also run two men's teams on a Sunday, one of which plays in the Chess Valley League.

We have two women's teams playing in the Hertfordshire Women's Cricket League for 2026:-
1XI:  Premier Division
2XI:  Softball Division

We also have a thriving junior section, offering coaching and matches for both boys and girls across a wide range of age groups.

Our home ground at Clarence Park offers cricket in a fantastic setting near to the centre of St Albans.
