Like the European Championships, it comes round every four years and is never a complete anti-climax.

This year we have the special privilege of a celebrity Quiz Master in the form of Michael Goodfellow. Rest assured the 2nd XI will have no prior knowledge of the questions and that this will be monitored closely by the ever vigilant 2nd XI coalition leader.

Each XI will have a team at a cost of a mere one pound per player - euros also accepted. Those not playing at the weekend are also of course welcome to form a Dream Team or several.
