Match report A fantastic sunny day at Abbots Langley. A squad of 12 players played 3 round robin matches, 8 overs per side, batting in pairs for 2 overs. St Albans played well finishing 2nd in their group, with wins against Harpenden A and Redbourn B teams.
In the semi-final St Albans ended just 2 runs short of the Redbourn A total. A very close and competitive match. Redbourn A went on to win the final convincingly in the end against Kings Langley.
St Albans then played in the 3/4th play-off against Chorley Wood losing again by another close margin of 4 runs. St Albans had played really well all day, improving throughout the day. Great fun was had by everyone and all the matches were played in a great spirit. Well done!
