Match report Leverstock Green were put into bat and were unlucky to lose a wicket with the second ball of the innings. However this set the tone for St Albans who maintained the pressure in the field and were rewarded with a run out from a direct hit by Tom Blight to dismiss Leverstock Green's dangerman. Ben Hicks (3-12) was the pick of the 10 bowlers used, helping restrict Leverstock Green to 78-7.
In reply St Albans got off to a perfect start with openers Jack Ypey (26) and Jacob Winfield (7) putting on 39 for the first wicket in the 6th over. The middle order stumbled under some accurate bowling but Harry Knill-Jones (15no) and Tom Blight (11no) broke the shackles when it mattered to see St Albans home safely with a few overs to spare.
