Match report A really good team batting performance resulted in a competitive total of 232 all out. Grant and Fergie set the way with a 50 run opening partnership. Dorse carried things on with a fluent 71 before the Hammer and Dave took us up to a challenging total.

The bowling started brightly with both Charlie and Amit troubling the batsmen. At 25-2 things looked good. Chipperfield battled well and despite a wicket a piece for Hammer and Dorse the score kept ticking over. Mark and Mike both bowled solid spells with little luck and a few dropped chances handed the initiative to Chipperfield. They eventually got home with 10 balls to spare.

Despite losing the game the 2's took another 14 points from it and there were plenty of positives, with some excellent batting performances yet again. Plenty to build from back at Clarence Park this Saturday.
