St Albans Cricket Club Lost by 37 runs

Match report St Albans won the toss and contained Hertford with some excellent fielding and catching. Alfie Button 4-12-2 and Jacob Winfield 3-13-3 the pick of the bowlers, restricting Hertford to 114, their lowest total of the season, even with the help of 26 extras (St Albans worst of the season!)
In reply St Albans struggled against the full and fast pace. Jack Ypey (17) kept St Albans in the game, until some poor running and shot selection brought on a mid innings collapse. Tom Blight (11) and Oliver Calverley (11*) brought back some respectability to the total, but St Albans were well short of the target in the end, finishing on 77.
