Match report The St Albans U14B team began their season away at Watford Town and the rustiness showed as Watford Town capitalised on some wayward bowling but the young St Albans side soon pegged Watford back with impressive spells from Tian Figg (2 wickets), Vinny Sriganesh (1 wicket) and Tom Szczech (1 wicket) and some superb fielding by Craig Reece. Watford Town finished with a below par score of 86-4 off the 20 overs.

However, after those early highlights, St Albans failed to push home their advantage and struggled against some good pacey Watford bowling with only Charlie Walton making double figures. He was well supported in the middle of the innings by Zach West but St Albans in the end fell well short at 59 all out.
