An evening perfect for bowling proved the difference in a low scoring affair at Sandpit Lane Cricket Ground this evening.

Louis and Alex the pick of the OA batsmen building a partnership of 18 before 4 wickets were taken by the ever-improving St Albans attack, many bowling without the luck of previous outings. Harry, Dan, Dylan and James all taking wickets to stem the flow of runs.

The St Albans batting line up getting above 200 runs on the odd occasion. Some good footwork from Robbie, Dan, Josh and Harry defending well on a pitch that rewarded anything that was bowled on a full length. The pick of the OA bowlers Tim, taking 4 wickets in his two overs. Celebrating his success in an appropriate manner in keeping with the spirit of the game.
