St Albans Cricket Club Indoors v Hemel U19's on Mon 01 Oct 2007 at 20:00
St Albans Cricket Club Lost

Match report And there we were again..., St Albans vs Hemel Sprogs. Simon "Elvis" Galloway lost the toss and was asked to bat, super consistent Martin "one man team" Jones started where he left off last season and retired on 25 and ultimately made 44, fellow member of team ging Phil "Brit Abroad" Dorset chipped in with 25 and the rest managed to run each other out until Jones and superstar all rounder Waheeeed managed to get the total up to a respectable Nelson. In reply a couple of pre-pubescent sprogs batted well against an indifferent start with the ball from Dorsett and Waheeeeeed and Saints were staring down the barrel, who else to turn to but one man team, supported by Matt "specialist bowler" Howeson (2-16) and an excellent keeping display from Ethan “specialist keeper” Fogarty to bring the Saints back into contention. Unfortunately Saints could not finish the job and go down to an early defeat. Lessons must be learnt quickly!
M Jones. (unsurprisingly.)
