St Albans Cricket Club U19 T20 v Radlett on Fri 04 Aug 2017 at 18:00
St Albans Cricket Club Lost by 55 runs

Match report On Friday night we rocked up to the game with the naïve idea that we might have 11 players. Cue a message to manager Ben McInnes 30 minutes before the
game from Ciaran Walsh stating, “I’m in Cornwall, what time is the game on tomorrow?”
Not a good start to the evening.
St Albans Sharks lost the toss and decided to bowl first in muggy conditions. Ben Adshead picked up a wicket in his opening salvo but after just 3 overs things started going downhill rapidly.
Events weren’t helped by wicketkeeper Harry Kendall dislocating his finger and having to leave the field but ultimately this was a strangely out of sorts performance and Radlett finished with an impressive 178 from their 20 overs.
Sharks had great start to their batting racking up 40 quick runs off the opening 6 overs with Moksudul Islam scoring rapidly, but a somewhat embarrassing batting collapse saw an eventual total of just 123 runs and a heavy defeat.
A bad day at the office all round.
