Match report After winning the last match the spirit were high for the 2X1, skip lost the toss and Watford decided to bat. Charles Smith got the early break through and Watford were down to 41-2 in 12 overs. In came Sammy Kumar and his double break though reduced the opp for 107 for 5 in 23 overs. But some sloppy fielding and 3 dropped catches put Watford back in control where Majid who was dropped in 30s went on to make 96. Watford put a competitive score ending on 244 - 9.
Openers Christian and Andy put on 24 for the 1st wicket when Christian was bowled for 14 and then Andy following soon reducing Saints for 67-3 in 22 overs. Charlie Parkinson making 29, Then a 89 run partnership between Michael Martin and Skip Amit Rajani steadied the ship but when the skip ran himself out for the 2nd time Saints were 156 for 4 in 36 overs. Michael then continued his run feast making 69 but in the end Saints lost the match by 20 runs.
Losing half the side from last week it was a great effort from the lads but a lot of positive things to take.
