Match report With Winfield 2/2 at the toss, St Albans batted first again. However this time with the batting order a little rejigged. An opening partnership of Scott and Roache, highlighted the hard work being put in at nets on batting technique. After Roache edging behind off Edge, Kendal continued his formed getting saints off to another quick start. Ralfe and Wilton also batted nicely alongside boom boom Murray, taking the score to 148. Just 1 run away from Winfields sweepstake prediction!!! The bowling performance was another strong one lead by front line seamers Murray and Islam, before the spin of Rambo and Kumar had Hatfield batsmen playing shots on the wrong pitch. This then allowed the t20 pro Rosson to knock over some timber before allowing skipper Winfield to bowl 4 balls 1-10 to finish the job. Another strong performance from a St Albans team looking to defend there t20 crown!!!! Man of the day has to go to Ben (Rambo) Ramsey who's figures for the day finished at 8 overs 6-17!
