Match report After winning the toss, St Albans elected to bat 1st. With Murray departing quickly and getting a Sunday send off. Kendal(l) and Islam used the power play well and got saints up to 70 off 8, this scoring was then continued by Wilton who seemed to find knocking the ball around easy whilst others failed around him. This was until Roache came to the crease and batted like.... a batsmen! This got St Albans to 136, way below par on a very dry deck. After a quick turn around a stroke a genius from skipper Winfield meant that the spin of Kumar and Roache put them instantly behind the rate. With the power play done, experienced bowlers Rosson and Winfield took 2 wickets each, leaving light work for Rambo and Ralfe to clean up the rest, resulting in a 46 run victory for the "rascal XI". Special mention the Scott for 2 fantastic catches and excellent football skills to set up a run out!
