Match report The Women’s team played both their games away at Abbots Langley Cricket Club on Sunday. Despite a delayed start due to the weather, we played our first game against Abbots Langley.

St Albans fielded first, where our bowling and fielding was outstanding; from catches in the field, run outs and standout bowling performances from Cerys Jones (3 wickets for 1 run off 3 overs) and Hannah Bentley (2 wickets for 0 runs off 2 overs).
With the fielding and bowling being so accurate and precise, St Albans capped Abbots Langley’s score to just 192-8.
Our batting was very strong too; quick runs between the wickets and top batting performances from Louise Nichols (17) and Olivia Howeson (17) assisted St Albans to win their first match of the day by 63 runs with a score of 255-5!
