St Albans Cricket Club Lost by 22 runs

Match report St Albans bowled first. An early wicket from Cerys Jones followed quickly by 2 wickets from Arminah Awan put the team in good stead. St John’s Fisher CC carried on scoring runs through their time at the crease and with a couple more wickets taken by Amy Price and Farah Stamp, St John Fisher CCs concluded their innings on 116 runs.
The opening batting pair Louise Nichols and Kathryn Langley started strong, taking their time at the crease whilst building the runs.
However, a couple of wickets fell which left Amy Price (24) and Arminah Awan (16) to make the most of the remaining overs.
However, the remaining overs didn’t give them enough time and therefore, St Albans fell short of their target by 22 runs.
