St Albans Cricket Club Girls U11A v Harpenden on Tue 08 Jun 2021 at 18:00
St Albans Cricket Club Lost by 68 runs

Match report On a lovely warm summer evening St Albans Captain Emma Treloar won the toss and elected to field. The St Albans bowling was steady but with a late flourish Harpenden reached 286 for the loss of 4 wickets. Lizzie Baylis took two wickets, a catch and a run out. Paloma Theobalds on debut took the other wicket. Nevertheless at the half way stage there was some hope of a close match. Emma Treloar and Asha Pisharody started well but were both out. Lizzie Baylis with some hard hitting took the score to 231 after 8 overs (only 1 behind Harpenden at the same stage). However the remaining batsmen, although playing some good shots, lost too many wickets and the innings closed on 218 including 10 wickets lost.
