Match report St Albans lost the toss yet again and were put into field first. Highlights of our fielding innings had to be Bailey’s 4 wickets for 5 runs off 5 overs including a caught & bowled. Some fantastic fielding from everyone including a run out by Amy from cover. Abbots collapsed to 68 all out.

Lucy and Katy opened the batting, Lucy was unfortunate to be given LBW first ball of the innings. Jenny strolled in at number 3 and ended up with a tidy 37* off 24 balls with support from Katy, Cooky, Christine and Amy. Highlight of the batting was Jenny’s 6 to cow corner.

St Albans pushed 2s and made Abbots work hard and chased down the score in 16 overs. Overall a fantastic day for the women and girls. Women of the match Bailey 4-5
