St Albans Cricket Club Won Win by 7 wickets

Match report Another fine 30 points for the Hallchurch army.
Having lost the toss and asked to bowl first, the St Albans side could have taken wickets at any time. No helped by a few dropped catches, including a sitter from Colin Murphy ??!! allowed the Ibis side to pile up far too many runs. (Ed. I have been asked by Mr Murphy to add the following to the report. " It was not a sitter, it was way over my head, spinning like a top and going like a rocket and swinging in the air." - This report has not been verified by any other player at this time.)

However, it was not enough as Pat 'Snail' Sylvester grafted an unbeaten 51no, despite running out Rex Devadason in the 2nd over. Uzman Zaman joined Sylvester at the wicket and scored a brisk 20 runs before work called.

Colin Murphy entered the fray and quickly overtook Sylvester as he hit 6x6's and 3x4's before being given out to a catch which clearly hit the floor.

Williams(22no) assisted Sylvester knock off the required total with over 18 overs to spare to leave the 4th XI in contention at the top of the table.
