Match report Another keenly contested game between St Albans and Watford Town saw St Albans sneak home in this under 11s 8-a-side game held at Clarence Park.

Watford Town were asked to bat first and were pegged back in their run scoring by some tight St Albans bowling and the steady loss of wickets over the 16 overs. Tom Blight, Callum Emmerson both grabbing 2 wickets each with Alasdair Charlesworth and Jack Ypey also chipping in with one wicket each for St Albans. Some strong Watford Town batting at the end of their innings saw them to 234 for 6.

St Albans began their innings slowly with some very impressive Watford Town bowling keeping the St Albans score down. However, St Albans final pairing of Jack Ypey and Michael Roche guided St Albans to 235 for 4 and a narrow victory.
