Match report A large (and well wrapped crowd) saw an entertaining and closely fought fixture on a blustery evening. St Albans were put in to bat and started steadily and Alfie Button(15) and Lewis Noden(4) were retired after 8 overs. William Spencer played some expansive shots and built partnerships with Oliver Calverley and Ben Robertson before retiring on 26, and St Albans finished on a competitive 85 after 20 overs.

Shenley started their reply in great style with Thompson and Rowe putting on 50 for the 2nd wicket, and they were scoring at the required run rate. However great bowling and variety from James Martin, a wicket maiden from Callum Emmerson, and 2 wickets in 2 balls from Oliver Calverley exposed the Shenley tail, and the tight fielding kept Shenley from reaching their target.
