St Albans Cricket Club Won by 43 runs

Match report Good performance and good result in difficult conditions. A magnificent century by Manny and good contributions from David Ashton/John Little saw St Albans to a competitive total on a fairly small ground.

In response all the bowlers did well backed up by tremendous fielding. Charlie Parkinson and the captain took magnificent one-handed catches (yes me!) and Ben Hicks almost surpassed these efforts with a stupendous diving effort at backward point which he couldn't quite hold on to.

The race for promotion is on!
