Match report St Albans put Watford in to bat looking for early wickets, the Watford openers batted well and put on 71 before Joshua Hewett struck twice in his fourth over finishing with figures of 2 wickets for 4 runs. Hashim Awan took the only other wicket St Albans. At times the bowling was very good however 15 extra's were conceded in total in comparison to the 2 that Watford gave away.

The St Albans run chase started began with a well struck boundary by Matthew Ellis before being caught in the second over. Zach West was getting set for a long innings but was unfortunate playing one on to his stumps. Craig Reece & Hashim stablised the innings scoring 21 & 23 respecively at a run a ball partnership of 40. Watford then introduced spinner Johnny into the attack who took 5 wickets for 11 runs.
