Match report On the hottest day of the year skip lost the loss and opp decided to bat. Saints had an early break though when Dan bowled the opener Tirmizi for 1 and then came on the top wicket taker for the 2s Ben Mcinnes who bowled 15 overs and gave away only 23 runs and picked p 2 wickets. Saint had a bad day in the field and dropped 5 catches and in the end opp were 196 in 53 overs.Saints lost Dom Watkins early for 5 and were in a bit of trouble 55-4 in 18 overs. Then a partnership of 66 from Amit Rajani and Syed Kirbia steadied the ship when the skipper got out for 43. Richard O'Toole and Ben Mcinnes again batted maturely with the patersnip of 65 for the 7 wicket but when they lost 3 wickets in 1 over and still needing 6 runs it was a squeaky bum time.However in the end Dan Rosson hit the winning runs and we won by 1 wicket.
