Hello everyone,
We hope you and your families are staying safe and well.
We have today received guidance from the English Cricket Board (ECB) advising that it is now acceptable to open outdoor training facilities such as nets.
As a result the club committee is now looking into how we can do this safely and in a way that conforms to the very stringent guidance we have been given.
We need to work out how we erect the actual nets in a way that observes social distancing and also how we remove the covers that are currently stored there with the same concerns in mind. There are also a number of other issues around bookings , security , compliance and sanitization that need careful thought.
We are figuring all this out and with that in mind it will be a while before we have both a plan in place and the nets are ready to use .
We will, however, keep you informed and will let you know if and when we can re-open and what the process will be for booking a session.
In the meantime, we would appreciate your patience and understanding so we can figure out a way to make this work.
Regards,
St Albans Cricket club.
