Just a reminder that, to mark what would have been the start of the 2020 league season, we are holding our ‘virtual’ cricket tournament today.

Jimmy and Dan Rosson from our adult section will be playing every game according to the league fixture list in a Cricket Subbuteo format throughout the day.

 Proceedings will start at 1pm.

The match itinerary is as follows:

1XI V Watford Town

2XI V North Mymms

3XI V Little Berkhamsted Sahibs

4XI V Harpenden

To end the day there will be two exhibition matches featuring a St Albans ‘Legends’ XIas follows:

St Albans Legends XI V West Indies 1980s XI

St Albans Legends XI V 2005 England Ashes Winning XI

Each player ‘selected’ to play has made a minimum £5 donation to the club’s Covid-19 Crisis Fund with most making very generous contributions and some pledging their full annual subs.

In the last 36 hours or so we have already raised over £1,200!
