Hello everyone,
We hope you are well.
We’re pleased to announce that following advice from the ECB we are now expanding usage of the nets to up to 4 people from different households per lane.
This is effective immediately.
Strict social distancing must still be observed, and we have put measures in place to help you achieve this.
When you arrive for your session the person supervising will explain and show you how to follow the measures. You must comply with these. If you or any member of your party does not your session will be terminated.
Your session is still 50 minutes (not one hour) to give you time to wipe down equipment and exit the nets. We have noticed that some people are still choosing to ignore this rule.
Any adult session with more than 3 people from now on will require a donation of £5 per person per session – i.e. a session of 3 people is now £15 and a session of 4 people is now £20. Please pay this promptly via the JustGiving site - ideally when you book your session. It is not our job to chase payment. Also, please do not make anonymous payments, we need to know who has paid.
Nets are still for St Albans CC members only, please do not invite friends or players from other clubs.
Juniors and adults who have paid their subs in full can still continue to use the nets for free. This only applies to those juniors and adults who have paid their subs. All other junior slots and adult one-on-one slots remain at £10 per session.
All junior sessions must still have one adult present in the nets to supervise.
We are noticing that some people are STILL NOT stating the names of everyone taking part in a session when booking. We have asked for this to be done several times now. Any bookings from now on that do not state the names of all participants will be cancelled.
We will try our best to get things as back to ‘normal’ as we can for you given the strict guidance we are compelled to follow by the government and the ECB. We will expand things as much as we can but we need you to help us by following the rules we have laid out.
With that in mind please continue to use the hand sanitizer, wipe down the stumps after you finish, use one ball per person and observe social distancing. If you are in doubt about any of the rules there is a notice detailing them in the nets.
Best wishes,
St Albans Cricket Club
