Match report After continuing his 100% toss winning record this season skipper Andy Saunders opted to bat on a dry, bumpy, unloved wicket.

Johnny Hall and Jack Ypey strode out to bat and the partnership looked to be going well before Jack fell on 11, which brought the in-form Harvey Scott into bat. Johnny and Harvey set about demolishing the opposition bowling with Johnny's elegant stroke play complimenting Harvey's ferocious hitting. The pair put on a 150+ partnership before Harvey was bowled on 78 and Johnny retired on 101 , his first ton.

There were no other innings of note as some poor shot selection and the pitch's ridiculously variable bounce accounted for the rest of the St Albans side for an impressive final total of 280 .

It was always going to be too much for the opposition to chase and quality bowling from all concerned skittled them out for just 97 runs. Jack Ypey, Harvey Scott , Andy Saunders and Kevin Milton all took 2 wickets apiece and Ciaran Walsh continued his good run of form with the ball with excellent figures of 6 overs , 2 maidens , 1 wicket for just 6 runs.

Some decent catches, committed fielding and good wicketkeeping from Ash Merve added to a very good performance overall .
