St Albans Cricket Club 3XI v Flitwick II on Sat 22 May 2004 at
St Albans Cricket Club Won St Albans Win by 5 wickets

Match report Another good win for the thirds as they chased down a total which Flitwick should never have posted. Eight dropped catches, varying from the very difficult to the outrageously simple let the visitors reach 200. Other than some poor overs late in the innings, all bowlers performed well with Nick Kirwan (4-33) the pick of the figures.
The run chase got off to a poor start but from 11-2, Hugo Thomas and Tim Fretter steadied the ship then proceeded to make rapid progress as their respective innings' developed. Both missed out on landmarks with Tim out for 49 and a tiring Hugo for 96. Once again sam Rowlands saw the side home with some wonderful batting although another last over win was not good for the nerves.
