Match report As the sky became grey with rain clouds - which represented the mood of the team perfectly after their narrow loss earlier - St Albans now faced Ealing. Ealing, who ranged from Australians to Sri Lankans to County players, batted first, and put on a dream-crushing 129-0. This did not reflect St Albans’ fielding in any way though, for there were numerous impressive stops and lots of accurate bowling.
However, fielding was taken to a new level by Ealing, who succeeded in taking 7 wickets. Cleo Spittall and Helen O'Byrne managed to thrash out 22 runs, which was closely followed by Emma and Charlotte with 21. But, this was nothing in comparison to Ealing, who ended up winning by 76 runs. St Albans finishing on 53-7
