St Albans Cricket Club Won by 152 runs

Match report St Albans lost the toss and were put into bat first. Zach Tarrant (11) and Siva Battula (36) got St Albans off to a steady start. After two quick wickets fell, Marcus Cunnington (32) steadied the ship with a great partnership with Umar Mukhtar (54). Umar's innings was a powerfull blast, consisting of 11 boundaries including 4x 6's. Not to be outdone, Shan Mukhtar hit a quick 43 which included 7 boundaries. Quick wickets fell but Finley Killner held firm ending up 14 not out allowing St Albans to make use of the full 40 overs, ending on a score of 219.

Tight opening spells from Tom Bentley (5-20-0) and Finley Killner (8-14-1) set the tone for a very good bowling and fielding display once again. Regular wickets fell for Berkampsted leading to them being bowled out for 67. The pick of the bowlers being Zach Tarrant (4-16-3) and Kevin Milton (4-6-3) with the latter being dropped on a hatrick ball (the fielder will not be named for team moral). Testiment to the great fielding display saw only one wicket out of 10 being bowled with 6x catches, 2x run outs and 1x stumping. The moment of the game was a superb diving one handed catch in slip by Finley Killner. A very impressive performance all round.
