Match report After losing the toss (again) the threes were asked to bat on a decidedly dodgy looking wet wicket. After half an hour they were 24-6 and it looked like an afternoon of vodka and red bull jugs at the Crown was on the cards. However, Andy Arnold (26), arriving late after spending an enjoyable lunch in Cambridge courtesy of Barry and Norma's navigation technique, spared the team's livers and wallets with the help of Simon Fretter (26). 105 all out looked possible to defend.

Jerry Woodcock bowled like a demon but the ball moved too much for him to take many wickets. Uzman Zaman and Barry Atkinson chipped in with a wicket a piece but the star of the show was Bash with a five for. Unfortunately, Micky Eames had an off day, bowling as though he had spent the previous night with JD. Wicket fell at regular intervals and Wormley were reduced to 97-9. A nerve wracking last couple of overs ensued but Wormley held on to win by one wicket
