St Albans Cricket Club Won by 86 runs

Match report A dominant display from the Development team who won against the Sad Fat Dads with Pads. Saints won the toss, and elected to bat, with Sammy Kumar and youngster Lucas Berry opening up. A dismissal early on saw Barnaby Amess come in, having to try and hold the innings with Kumar, to which they did superbly, with Sammy retiring on 40, and Barnaby getting a crucial 14 runs. Rhys Barham and Josh Kleiner-Mann had a tough job, trying to boost the run flow as quickly as possible, with Josh getting run out on 21, with Zac Tarrant coming in to get a few runs at the end of the innings, to make the score 121 from 20 overs.
The Saints Development team came out with determination, as Tom Bentley and Finlay Killner starting strongly, with Fin getting an early wicket, and Tom picking up a crucial maiden. Nathan Kleiner-Mann came into the attack, and collected 2 well deserved wickets. Lucas Berry had a point to prove, and took 2 wickets for 2 runs in 2 overs. Rhys did well, and got a wicket in his second over, with Josh also getting a wicket. Tarrant came on and got 2 wickets without conceding a run to wrap up the game, with the final score for the SFDWP team scoring 35 in 13 overs.
A great overall performance from everyone involved, with great fielding and great determination from the whole team.
