Hi Everyone,

This evening the draft for the inaugural St Albans Premier League (STAPL) T20 tournament took place live via Zoom – thanks to everyone who came along and thank you particularly to Nick Reeves for his smooth handling of the whole process.

The group stages will be held on Sunday June 27^th with Finals Day on Sunday August 29^th – all games to be played at Clarence Park most probably as a T10 format to fit all the matches in. Everyone picked in a squad will participate in matches on both days.

Full competition rules and formats to be confirmed nearer the time.

 The full team squads as selected during the draft  are below – if you couldn’t come to the draft have a look and see which team you have been picked for  ….

 The next stage is for you to pay your entry fee of £25 so we can order your coloured , personalised team shirt and cap . We will send out a form with a payment link next week – there will be a pretty strict deadline because there is a long lead time to order this many clothing items so please pay promptly .

We’ll give you more info as we get closer to June 27^th – if you can’t play in the tournament for whatever reason please let Andy Saunders know on andy@velocitypr.co.uk as soon as possible so we can allocate your place to someone else and order them a shirt and cap .

If you are interested in sponsoring one of the teams with your company logo on the shirts for £150  please also let Andy Saunders know as soon as possible.
