Match report Another victory for the thirds, this time with only ten men away at the picturesque rolling hills of Botany Bay. Invited to bowl by the opposition the bowlers took a while to settle in as the hosts made a very good start. Once the wickets started to fall they came in a rush an Botany Bay were restricted to 184 all out in the fifty-first over on a good batting track. Mike Williams blasted out a hard earned five wickets while the captain bored out four of the opposition. Luke Mitchell wrapped up the innings and all retired for tea and cream scones!
After filling up on food the batsmen then feasted on some ordinary bowling with "BabyBel" Box leading the run chase. All those required to bat made the most of the opportunity and knocked off the target with eight and a half overs to spare.
Another very good win; unbeaten in May but, with a huge amount of the season still to go, no-one should be counting any chickens.
