Match report Winning the toss on a good track, St Albans' innings started positively, with Ashish and Hugh putting on 42 for the first wicket.
However a sudden hat-trick of wickets(including a couple of freak dismissals) stalled the St Albans charge. Ashish played beautifully for his 79 and held the innings together. With 6 batsmen failing to trouble the scorers (incl 3 goldens) the total was never going to be enough.

However with a strong bowling line up St Albans still fancied their chances and got off to a great start with man of the match Ashish taking a wicket in the first over. Christian bowled like a man possessed and ripped through OMT's top order with fire and cunning.

At 59-5 St Albans were well on top, the bowlers were quickly into their rhythms, and were well supported by fielders, and tidy work by Ted behind the stumps. However the cricket gods had other ideas, as edges started flying through any gaps, bottom edges missed stumps by millimetres and with 3 catches not sticking, OMT reached their target without losing any further wickets.
