And the captain is thoroughly p****d off with his incompetence.

The game however was a one-sided affair with Dan Longhurst opening his league wicket account and Luke Mitchell bowling very well. The captain mopped up the tail and, after a much-delayed tea the win was wrapped up.
Batting either side of tea disrupted the flow of progress but sensible play by Sam Rowlands and Max Brown broke the back of the opposition and Simon Fretter finished them off in style.

An excellent all-round display and, in Peter Griffiths, the wicketkeeping dilemma has been resolved, a fine debut!
